안성 지역 시민사회단체 전·현직 대표들, 김보라 시장 후보 지지

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이귀선기자] 안성지역 시민사회단체 전·현직 대표 27명이 물리치료사회, 한국노총 안성지역지부, 청년들에  이어 김보라 더불어민주당 안성시장 후보에 대한 지지를 선언했다.

김보라 안성시장 후보 캠프에 따르면 23일 시민사회단체 전·현직 대표들은 김보라 선거사무실에서 지지선언식을 갖고 김보라 후보에 대한 강력한 지지 의사를 밝혔다.

시민사회단체 전·현직 대표들은 “김보라 후보는 의료생협(안성농민의원) 설립 당시 안성시민의  참여 요청을 받아들여 안성지역으로 달려와줬다”며 “시장 재임 기간 동안 32년만의 철도 유치   확정, 42년 만의 송탄·유천취수장 해법 마련, 23년만의 동부권 주거환경 개선 추진, 공도 초·중등 통합학교 신설 확정, 대규모 산업단지 유치 등 빛나는 혁신성과를 이뤄냈다”라고 강조했다.

이들은 “한 정치인을 성원하는 것은 믿음에서 출발한다”며 “지난 30여 년은 시민중심, 생활중심의 시민 운동 활동, 경제 활동, 정당 활동, 시정 활동 등의 과정은 정치인으로서 김보라 후보의 인격과 능력을 검증하는데 충분한 시간”이라고 덧붙였다.

이어 “이번 안성시장 선거는 안성시의 미래와 안성시민의 행복이 걸려 있는 중차대한 선거인만큼 개인적 이해관계와 사적인 친분관계를 떠나 안성공동체의 미래를 생각하자”라고 강조하며 김보라 후보에 대한 지지를 호소했다.
