용인특례시, 신규 도시철도 ‘동천~언남’ 추진 결정

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시가 동백신봉선과 연계해 언남동, 마북동, 죽전동을 거쳐 동천역과 환승하는 도시철도 노선 신설을 추진하겠다고 밝혔다.

시는 이날 마북동 행정복지센터에서 ‘용인시 신규철도망 구상 및 타당성조사용역’ 주민설명회를 개최했다.

주민설명회에서 시는 제2차 경기도 도시철도망 구축계획에 최근 반영된 동백신봉선 신설 노선과 연계하고 신분당선, 분당선 등 기존 노선과 환승하는 새로운 도시철도 노선을 공개했다.
