화성특례시, 책-문화-기술 집약된 ‘화성동탄중앙도서관’ 정식 개관

화성동탄중앙도서관은 동탄중앙로 120에 연면적 10,625㎡, 지하 1층, 지상 4층 규모로 건립되어 관내 31개 공공도서관을 아우르는 화성특례시 최대 규모의 지식 문화 중심지이다. 최대 규모의 장서(25만 권)와 면적을 갖춘 미래형 도서관으로, 시민이 책을 읽고, 체험하며, 배우는 공간으로 조성됐다.

도서관 운영 시간은 평일 오전 9시부터 밤 10시까지이며, 맞벌이 가정과 가족 단위 이용 확대를 위해 어린이·유아 자료실도 야간까지 개방된다.
