화성특례시, 2025 대한민국 지속가능발전대회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성특례시는 오는 11월 5일부터 7일까지 3일간 정조효공원, 화성시민대학, 서해마루 일원에서 '2025 대한민국 지속가능발전대회'를 개최한다.

1999년을 시작으로 올해로 27회를 맞은 이 대회는 지방자치단체, 시민단체, 학계, 시민이 함께 참여해 대한민국의 지속가능발전목표(SDGs) 달성을 위한 분야별 정책 방향을 논의하는 전국 규모의 대회이다.

올해 대회는 경기도 화성특례시 2025 대한민국지속가능발전대회 조직위원회가 공동 주최하고 전국지속가능발전협의회 경기도지속가능발전협의회 화성시지속가능발전협의회가 주관한다. 또한, 기후에너지환경부와 국무조정실이 공동 후원하여, '기술과 포용의 혁신, 화성에서 대한민국의 길을 찾다'를 주제로 중앙정부의 환경정책 역량과 범정부 정책 조정 기능이 하나의 무대에서 결합하는 상징적 의미를 지닌다.
