이천시, ‘희망택시 지원사업’ 11개 마을 확대 운행

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 이현준기자] 이천시가 대중교통 이용이 어려운 지역 주민들을 위해 운행하는 '희망택시' 지원사업을 오는 9월 8일부터 기존 60개 마을에서 71개 마을로 확대 운행한다.

희망택시는 '이천시 대중교통 소외지역 주민 교통복지 증진에 관한 조례'에 따라, 교통 소외 지역 주민들이 저렴한 요금으로 주요 거점까지 택시를 이용할 수 있도록 지원하는 공공형 서비스다.
