이천시, 경기도 상권 친화형 도시 조성사업 공모 선정

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 이현준기자] 이천시는 경기도와 경기도시장상권진흥원이 주관한 ‘2025년 상권 친화형 도시조성 사업’ 공모에서 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모 사업은 상권 활성화 기구 유무에 따라 Ⅰ유형과 Ⅱ유형으로 나누어 공모하였고, 이천시는 상권 활성화 기구가 없는 시군에 해당하는 Ⅱ유형으로 신청 및 선정되어, 총 4억 원(도비 2억 원, 시비 2억 원)의 사업비를 확보했다.

이천시는 이번 사업을 통해 상권 활성화 기구를 설립ㆍ운영할 예정이며, 상권 실태조사 및 활성화 종합계획을 수립하고, 관내 상권 특성을 반영한 상권 활성화 정책을 추진할 계획이다.

김경희 이천시장은 “이번 공모 사업을 통해 이천시 관내 상권 활성화를 위한 기반이 마련되길 바란다”라며 “관내 상권의 지속적인 성장을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
