시흥시, ‘경기도 상권 친화형 도시 조성사업’ 선정

【브레이크뉴스 경기남부 = 시흥 이현준 기자】 시흥시가 경기도와 경기도시장상권진흥원이 주관한 ‘2025년 상권 친화형 도시 조성사업’ 공모에서 Ⅰ유형에 최종 선정됐다고 10일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 상권활성화 기구가 있거나 유사 역할을 수행하는 기구가 있는 시군을 대상으로 한 Ⅰ유형과, 상권활성화 기구가 없는 시군을 위한 Ⅱ유형으로 나뉜다. 사업비는 도비와 시비가 1대 1로 매칭돼 지원된다.

시흥시는 이번 공모 선정으로 도비 3억 5천만 원을 포함해 총 7억 원의 사업비를 확보했다. 이는 공모에 선정된 11개 시군 중 가장 많은 예산으로, 시흥시가 상권 활성화 정책의 선도 도시로 자리매김했음을 보여준다.

또한, 1차 연도 사업 수행 후 평가를 통해 향후 3년간 최대 60억 원의 사업비가 추가 지원될 예정이다.
