안성시, 미세먼지 농도 대폭 개선

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시는 2018년 초미세먼지(PM-2.5) 평균 농도가 30㎍/㎥(봉산동)를 기록하며 대기질이 좋지 않은 지역으로 분류된 바 있다.

그러나 이후 안성시는 시민의 건강 보호와 대기질 개선을 위해 다양한 미세먼지 저감 정책을 적극 추진해온 결과 6년이 지난 2024년에는 초미세먼지 평균 농도가 19㎍/㎥로 대폭 개선되었다. 특히 봉산동 국가대기측정망 기준으로는 17㎍/㎥로 경기도 평균(18㎍/㎥)보다 낮은 수치를 나타냈다.
