용인특례시, 죽전3동 행정복지센터 설계 공모 당선작 선정

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 수지구 죽전3동 행정복지센터(죽전동 1340) 건립을 위한 설계 공모 결과 ㈜광장건축사사무소가 출품한 ‘죽전사계’(竹田四季) 작품을 당선작으로 선정했다고 7일 밝혔다.

당선작은 전체적으로 부지 공간의 활용, 전면 보행광장부터 야외음악당까지의 동선 연계에 좋은 평가를 받았다.

시는 사업비 291억 원을 들여 비발디공원 내 대지면적 3000㎡에 지하1층, 지상3층 연면적 4840㎡ 규모의 죽전3동 행정복지센터를 건립할 계획이다.

민원실, 강의실, 체력단련실, 다목적강당, 동대본부, 음악도서관 등 시설을 갖추게 된다.

시는 시 홈페이지에 당선작을 공고하고, 8월부터 설계 용역에 착수한 뒤 2026년 12월 착공해 2028년 12월 준공할 계획이다.

시 관계자는 “죽전3동 행정복지센터 건립을 차질없이 진행해서 이곳이 행정·복지·문화 등 복합서비스를 원활하게 하는 공간, 지역 주민들이 편안하게 소통할 수 있는 공간으로 활용되도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

죽전3동은 지난 2021년 9월 죽전1동에서 분동된 이후 현재 대지초교 삼거리 인근 임시청사(대지로 42)에서 행정서비스를 주민들에게 제공하고 있다.
