화성특례시 2025년 인구정책위원회·실무추진단 회의 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성특례시가 지난달 31일 시청 대회의실에서 2025년 화성특례시 인구정책위원회·실무추진단 회의를 개최했다.

화성특례시 인구정책위원회는 정구원 화성특례시 제1부시장, 관련 실국소장, 시의원, 각종 분야의 인구정책 전문가 등 총 18명으로 구성돼 있으며, 화성특례시 인구정책 전반에 대한 심의와 자문 역할을 수행하며 다양한 정책을 제안·발굴하고 있다.

화성시 인구정책 실무추진단은 인구정책 추진 부서 팀장 25명으로 구성돼 있으며, 주요 인구정책 추진 상황을 점검하고 신규 인구정책을 발굴 및 제안해 분야별 협업 지원체계를 구축하는 역할을 맡고 있다.

이날 회의에서는 위원회 및 실무추진단 등 40여 명이 참석한 가운데, ‘화성특례시 인구정책 기본계획(2026~2030) 수립 연구’의 중간 성과를 공유하고 인구정책 추진과제 발굴 및 선정을 위한 자문 의견을 수렴했다.

시는 지난 3월 연구에 착수해 오는 12월까지 계획 수립을 마칠 계획으로, 이번 연구는 저출생·고령화에 따른 인구 구조 변화에 대응하고 화성특례시 105만 시민의 인구특성을 반영한 지속가능한 중장기 인구정책을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.

시는 인구구조, 현황 및 인구정책 추진 기반 등 각종 데이터를 면밀히 분석하고, 화성시 인구정책의 비전·목표 및 중장기 로드맵을 제시하고, 지속가능한 인구정책을 발굴·추진할 계획이다.

또한, 아이부터 어르신까지 모두가 행복한 화성을 목표로 ▲안정적인 양육 환경 조성을 위해 국·공립어린이집, 다함께돌봄센터, 시간제 보육지원사업 등 확대 운영 ▲고령화 시대를 대비해 노인평생교육 강화 및 노인건강증진 사업 등을 추진하고 있다.
