용인특례시, ‘푸른물결 소공원 ‧ 무지개구름 소공원’ 개방

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 처인구 고림동 1035번지 일원 고림진덕지구 내 푸른물결 소공원과 무지개구름 소공원 2곳을 1일부터 전면 개방한다고 밝혔다.

이번 소공원 개방은 지난 7월 16일 이상일 시장이 힐스테이트 용인 고진역 1·2단지를 방문해 입주민들과 간담회를 갖기에 앞서 현장을 살펴본 뒤 관련 부서에 신속한 행정 조치를 따른 것이다.

이번에 개방된 공원 2곳은 고림진덕지구 지구단위계획사업의 기반시설로 조성된 공원으로, 명칭은 주민 공모를 통해 자연의 이미지를 담은 ‘푸른물결 소공원’과 ‘무지개구름 소공원’으로 각각 선정됐다.

무지개구름 소공원에는 바닥분수, 운동시설, 휴게시설 등이 조성돼 가족 단위 방문객에게 인기를 끌 것으로 기대되며, 푸른물결 소공원은 지역 주민들의 일상 속 휴식을 위한 녹지공간으로 꾸며졌다.

이상일 시장은 “공원의 신속한 개방을 원한다는 주민들의 말씀을 듣고 시와 공동주택 시행사 간의 행정 절차를 신속히 진행한 결과 계획보다 빠르게 개방이 이뤄졌다”며 “주민들이 이곳에서 힐링의 시간을 많이 가지시기 바란다”고 말했다.
