용인특례시, 광복 80주년 시민 문화축제 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 광복 80주년을 기념해 광복절 당일인 15일 오후 6시 ‘용인! 빛으로 힘차게 나아가리’ 행사를 개최한다고 1일 밝혔다.

이상일 시장은 "광복 80주년의 역사적 의미를 되새기고 순국선열의 나라사랑 정신을 시민들이 잘 이어받아 나라와 용인의 밝은 미래를 개척하겠다는 다짐과 함께 미래지향적인 희망의 메시지도 담은 시민 문화축제로 기획했다"며 "시민들의 많은 참여를 기대한다"고 말했다.

행사 주제인 ‘용인! 빛으로 힘차게 나아가리’는 기미독립선언서의 마지막 문구인 ‘다만, 앞길의 광명을 향하여 힘차게 나아갈 뿐이로다’를 인용한 구호다.
