용인특례시, 사회적경제 활성화 포럼 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 지난 30일 시청 컨벤션홀에서 ‘2025 용인시 사회적경제 활성화 포럼’을 개최했다.

용인시, 용인시사회적경제지원센터, 사회적경제 포럼 추진위원회가 공동 주최·주관한 이날 행사엔 사회적경제 관계자, 시민조직 활동가, 지역에너지 전문가 등이 참석했다.

이번 행사는 ‘정책 전환의 시대, 사회적경제와 지역에너지 전환’을 주제로 사회적경제의 새로운 역할과 전략을 모색하고자 마련됐다.

행사 1부에선 강민수 한국사회연대경제 상임이사가 ‘새로운 정부의 사회적경제 정책 방향과 지역의 대응 전략’을, 이창수 시민발전이종협동조합연합회장이 ‘시민조직 기반의 지역에너지 전환 사례’를 주제로 발제를 맡았다.

행사 2부 종합토론엔 백상훈 용인시 탄소중립지원센터장, 김태영 ㈔신재생에너지나눔지기 대표, 오영희 용인의료복지사회적협동조합 이사장, 백소영 용인시협동조합협의회장 등이 참여했다. 이들은 기후 위기 대응뿐만 아니라 사회적 돌봄 정책과 지역 공동체 복지의 역할을 사회적경제 관점에서 논의했다.

시는 이번 행사 이후에도 추가로 포럼 개최해 지속적으로 사회적경제를 활성화하기 위한 담론과 실행 전략을 마련한다는 방침이다.

최유진 용인시사회적경제지원센터장은 “기후 위기 대응과 에너지 전환은 더 이상 국가 차원의 문제가 아니라 지역사회가 함께 풀어가야 할 과제”라며 “이번 포럼을 통해 사회적경제와 시민이 함께하는 지역 중심의 에너지 전환 모델을 구체화하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

The city plans to hold additional forums following this event to continuously develop discourse and implementation strategies to revitalize the social economy.
