용인특례시, 소규모 개인하수처리시설 IoT시스템 시범사업 추진

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 수질보전특별대책지역의 소규모 개인하수처리시설 51개소를 대상으로 사물인터넷(IoT)시스템 시범사업을 진행 중이라고 28일 밝혔다.

시가 추진 중인 IoT시스템은 공기공급장치에 압력센서나 전류감지센서를 부착해 정상작동 여부를 원격으로 확인한다. 이를 통해 기계 고장이나 연식경과 등의 이유로 공기공급장치가 작동되지 않는 상황을 원격으로 파악해 신속하게 조치할 수 있다.

이 시스템은 소규모 개인하수처리시설에 설치된 공기공급장치의 이상유무를 앱을 통해 상시 확인할 수 있도록 하고, 24시간 이상 작동되지 않을 경우 시설 소유자나 관리업체에 문자로 알린다.

또, 지자체와 (사)한국생활하수처리협회 용인시지회도 공동으로 앱을 통해 모니터링하고, 신속한 조치가 이뤄질 수 있도록 관리요령과 교육을 지원한다.
