[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 지난 17일 용인동부경찰서 주관으로 시민이 참여하는 교통안전 홍보단 ‘지켜용 서포터즈’가 공식 활동을 시작했다.

‘지켜용 서포터즈’는 시 캐릭터인 ‘조아용’의 친근한 이미지를 활용해 시민들이 교통안전 캠페인에 참여해 기초질서를 지키는 문화를 확산하는 활동을 할 수 있도록 용인동부경찰서가 전국 최초로 운영하는 홍보단이다.

어르신, 대학생, 운전자, 상인, SNS 홍보단 등 다양한 연령층과 직업군으로 구성된 20명의 서포터즈는 교통안전 영상제작, 모니터링, 이륜차 안전운전 캠페인, SNS홍보 등의 활동을 수행하며 교통안전 문화 확산을 위한 활동에 나선다.

이날 발대식에는 이상일 시장과 배영찬 용인동부경찰서장, 지켜용 서포터즈 등 20여명이 참석했다.
