[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시가 장현지구의 ‘시흥시청역세권 고밀ㆍ복합개발 사업’을 추진하는 가운데 민간사업자공모 결과 최종 우선협상대상자 선정 결과를 지난 5일 발표했다.

이번 사업은 시흥시청역과 연결된 장현 공공주택지구 내 자동차 정류장 부지를 복합 고밀개발을 통해 주상복합 부지로 전환하는 계획으로, 공공성 확보와 지역개발ㆍ경제 활성화를 위해 기획됐다.

시는 지난해 11월 1일 민간사업자 공모를 공고했으며, 최종 1개 사(에이치엘디앤아이한라(주))가 2월 3일 사업계획서를 제출했다.

사업계획서 평가는 시흥시 공모지침서 및 내부규정에 따라 평가 분야별 전문자격 조건을 충족한외부 인사들로 구성된 평가위원회에서 2월 5일 시흥시청에서 열린 평가위원회를 통해 진행됐다. 이날 공정하고 투명한 평가 절차를 거쳐 에이치엘디앤아이한라가 최종 우선협상대상자로 선정됐다.

선정된 우선협상대상자가 제출한 사업계획서에는 지하 5층, 지상 49층, 1,019세대 규모의 주상복합 건축물 계획과 함께 시흥시 공모지침서에서 제시한 환승 정류장(환승센터), 환승주차장, 시흥시청역과 연계되는 입체 보행시설 및 공공 업무시설이 반영돼 있다.

시는 선정된 우선협상대상자와 30일간 협상을 거쳐 최종 사업협약을 체결하고, 후속 행정절차를 진행할 계획이다.

시는 이번 사업 추진을 통해 공공성을 확보하고, 시흥시청역 역세권 내 랜드마크를 조성해 지역개발과 경제 활성화를 견인할 계획이다.
