(브레이크뉴스 경기남부= 광주 이현준 기자) 광주시는 도척면 진우리와 도웅리 일원에서 진행된 교차로 가각 정비공사를 완료했다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 진우리 정비공사는 국지도 98호선 진우교차로의 협소한 회전반경으로 인한 사고 위험과 교통정체 문제를 해결하기 위해 진행됐으며 총 사업비 9억 원 전액 도비가 지원됐다.

또한, 도웅리 정비공사는 도궁초교 삼거리의 교통혼잡을 해소하기 위해 시비 1억 원을 투입해 우회전 전용차로를 설치하는 등 여러 가지 개선 작업이 진행됐으며 이를 통해 해당 지역의 교차로는 교통 흐름이 원활해지고 주민들의 안전도  더욱 보장될 것으로 기대되고 있다.
