광주시, 2025년 을사년 새해맞이 현충탑 참배

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 2일 광주시 호국보훈공원 내 현충탑에서 2025년 을사년(乙巳年) 신년 참배 행사를 개최했다.

이날 참배 행사에는 방세환 시장을 비롯해 소병훈‧안태준 국회의원, 허경행 시의회 의장, 도·시의원, 기관·사회단체장 등 120여 명이 참석한 가운데 분양 후 합동 참배하는 방식으로 진행됐다.

참석자들은 새해를 맞아 나라를 위해 희생한 순국선열 및 호국영령들의 숭고한 애국정신을 기리고 새해 힘찬 출발을 다짐하는 시간을 보냈다.

방 시장은 “올해도 시민을 최우선으로 생각하는 마음과 자세로 시정의 핵심 목표들을 역동적으로 추진할 것”이라고 말했다.
