[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시가 11일 ‘시화호 30주년 기념사업 성과공유회’를 개최했다.

시화호기념사업 TF와 연계된 시흥시 부서 및 기관 관계자 40여 명이 참석한 이번 성과공유회는 시화호 조성 30주년을 기념해 올 한 해 추진된 다양한 기념사업의 성과를 공유하고 향후 발전 방향을 모색하고자 추진됐다.

이날 회의에서는 분야별 사업의 성과를 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 한 개선점 및 향후 사업 방향에 대한 토의가 이뤄졌다.

주요 성과로는 경기도 지정 기념일인 시화호의 날(10월 10일) 지정, 중앙정부 주최의 시화호 30주년 기념식 추진 등 시화호 의제의 확산과 축제ㆍ문화예술ㆍ해양 레저스포츠 등을 통한 시화호 해양레저 클러스터 성장 가능성 확인 등이 꼽혔다.

시화호의 미래 비전으로는 ▲시화호 해양레저 활성화 집중 ▲지역경제 동반성장 ▲시화호권 거버넌스 강화 등이 제시됐다.

이덕환 시흥시 환경국장은 “앞으로도 시화호 권역의 지속적인 발전을 끌어나갈 수 있도록 시민 체감 만족도와 사업 효과성이 높은 사업을 중심으로 향후 사업을 준비하겠다. 아울러, 상권 활성화와 도시생활 기반 시설 개선 등의 과제도 지속적으로 해결해 나가겠다”라고 말했다.
