[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이귀선기자] 시흥시가 ‘2024년 전국 사업체조사’를 시행한다. 조사는 2월 16일부터 3월 12일까지 우리나라 사업체의 지역별 분포 및 고용 구조를 파악하기 위해 꼭 필요한 전수 통계조사로 통계청이 주관하고 시흥시가 실시한다고 밝혔다.

관내에서 산업활동을 수행하고 있는 1인 이상의 모든 사업체(78,814개)가 대상이며, 조사항목은 사업체명, 사업장 운영장소, 종사자 수 등 9개 항목이다.

조사는 시흥시가 임명한 통계조사원 92명이 방역 안전 수칙을 철저히 준수해 현장 면접조사로 진행한다. 필요시 배포조사, 전화조사 등 비대면 조사도 병행한다.

조사된 자료는 내용 검토 과정을 거쳐 산업별ㆍ종사자 규모별ㆍ조직 형태별ㆍ지역별 사업체 수 및 종사자 수 등으로 집계된다. 조사 결과는 통계청에서 오는 12월 확정한 뒤 국가통계포털(KOSIS)에 제공될 예정이다.

시 관계자는 “사업체조사가 국가의 정책 수립 및 학술연구 등에 기초자료로 활용되는 중요한 조사인 만큼, 정확한 조사가 이뤄질 수 있도록 사업체의 이해와 협조를 당부드린다. 조사된 모든 내용은 통계법(제33조 비밀의 보호)으로 철저히 보호되고, 오직 통계작성 목적으로만 사용되므로 안심해도 된다”라고 말했다.
