경기도 공모사업인 ‘은빛독서나눔이’는 56세~76세 시민을 시니어 독서지도사인 은빛독서나눔이로 양성하고 지역아동센터, 작은도서관, 돌봄센터에 파견하여 지역 내 취약계층 어린이의 독서 활동을 지원한다.
현재 10명의 은빛독서나눔이가 19개 기관으로 파견되어 초등학교 1학년부터 중학교 2학년까지 책읽기, 독후감 및 글쓰기 등 독서지도를 실시하고 있다.
국립어린이청소년도서관이 주관하는 ‘도서관과 함께 책 읽기’는 지역아동센터와 연계하여 취약계층 어린이의 올바른 독서습관 형성과 문화 격차 해소를 위해 추진하는 사업이다.
